Jianghuai Auto exports jump 162% in January-August

Shanghai, September 17, (Gasgoo.com) Jianghuai Automobile Co. (JAC) exported a total of 130,000 vehicles from January to August this year, up 162 percent year on year, Shanghai Securities Journal reported today.
JAC's export revenue during the period rocketed 210 percent to 800 million yuan (US$106.5 m), the report said. Meanwhile, JAC's exports of light trucks increased 110 percent to 10,000 units, and sales revenue of these light trucks soared 223 percent.
Also in the January-August period, JAC exported more than 1000 heavy vehicles. The company has also begun to export a SUV model called Jianghuai Eagle which debuted in Russia earlier this month.
