Shanghai, April 25 (Gasgoo.com) South Korea famous automaker Kia Auto launched hatchback Rio and seven-seater grand SUV Borrego at Beijing auto show.

The hatchback Rio is a high-end economical model as Kia's latest globally strategic unit. Except 300mm shorter than the notchback version, the hatchback Rio measures the same as the notchback model at width and height. Powered by a 1.4 LDOHC and 1.6-liter VVT engine which generates an output of 82kw and maximum torque of 145nw, the hatchback Rio can accelerate to 100km in only 10 seconds. It is expected to go on sale in China in August this year.
Borrego
Borrego, by the name of "Barui" in Chinese, is a seven-seater grand SUV and expected to go on sale in China in the second half of this year. Borrego measures like the Jeep Grand Cherokee at body length. Grey plastic decorates the vehicle underbelly, back bumper shock and side apron, representing its dynamic and fashionable quality. It is equipped with V6/V8 engine and the standard four-wheel drive system. Borrego has gone on sale in Korea in January at a price between $35,000 and $47,000.
