Shanghai, April 30 (Gasgoo.com) China Association of Automobile Manufacturers yesterday unveiled the rankings of the top 10 automobile groups in Chinese market for the first quarter.
Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) takes the leading position by selling 463,700 vehicles in the first quarter, followed by FAW Group Corp with 444,100 vehicles sold. Dongfeng Motor Corp comes up third with its sales of 339,100 units.
The top 10 sellers sold a total of 2.17 million automobiles in the first quarter, which represents 84 percent of mainland China's total domestic auto sales in the first three months.
