Dongfeng Citroen will change all the labels of its vehicle models into big labels connected with the air grid. At present only Fukang is attached with a small label. The successor to Fukang will also acquire a big label like Elysee and C-Triomphe. The production of Fukang will be stopped before labels are changed and Fukang will be replaced by hatchback Elysee. The upcoming hatchback Elysee is likely to be powered by a 1.4L engine, the dealer told reporters.
Now the 2008 Fukang is priced at 70,800 yuan ($10,187) by its manufacturer, while the selling price in Beijing dealerships is actually 67,000 yuan around. As it goes on sale, the hatchback Elysee is likely to maintain the same price as the Elysee sedan's at the lowest 73,800 yuan.
