1)wet cylinder liners : In accordance with the instructions from the engine manufacturer,cast iron cylinders or light alloy cylinders are used, light ally cylinders are separated into several groups due to the small installation clearances in the standard cylinder dimensions. some pics as follos:

 2)Dry cylinder liners:

Befor the liner is installed,the locating bore in the cylinder block must be cleaned carefully, and must be checked to ensure the accuracy of the dimensions and to determine whether any distortion has occurred. Out-of-centre or damaged bores can be reworked for the installation of oversize liners. It is important for this that the locating bore is cylindrical, as this is what determines the geometrical shape of the inside of the pressed-in, thin-walled liner.

The cylinder liner must be pressed with power between 3000kg and 5000kg into the block. It is importan that the bore is circular and cylindrical.And it must be rheonned with out any movement freom the axis. The inside diameters must be measured at 20 celsius degree.

3.Air-cooling cylinder liners
