ASTM A516 Grade 65 steel is a carbon steel grade intended primarily for service in welded pressure vessels where improved notch toughness is required, and is normally found in moderate and lower temperature applications. We are engaged in offering a wide range of A516 Grade 65  steel plates basic material and latest technology are being utilized for manufacturing process. ASTM A516 steel is also known as ASME SA516. According to different strength levels, plate products are available in four grades: Grades 55, 60, 65, and 70. These four grades are mainly defined by their different tensile and yield strength range, which is influenced by content of Carbon. These grades cover a range of tensile strengths from 55 - 90 MPa and this versatility explains much of the specifications popularity. For higher grade like A516 grade 70 steel plate, preheating might be needed for metal arc welding process, especialy with thick steel plate.
