We apply normalization to housing and ball stud in forging process.  It will bring the grain size and metal structure up to the desired grade. This is the key which affects the durability of parts in the future.   Then, we apply induction hardening on ball stud, housing and bearings up to HRC 58 and up with desired depth of hardening layer and core hardness.  With proper lubrication design, it gives durability to the parts especially which need to compensate the pressure from the old connecting parts.
