In 2010, China's automobile sales topped 18 million, again surpassing the US to keep its place as the world's largest auto market. At the same time, China has also shown its prowess in automobile production, becoming the world's largest car producer. Although the average value of Chinese vehicles is below more mature markets, the country's auto parts market can stand head to head with the world's best.
However, is it possible that the Chinese auto market will face a turning point in 2011? With the rapid growth of the domestic auto parts market, what sort of challenges lies ahead? What strategies will enterprises use to confront these challenges? In this new competitive climate, how can businesses further develop their localization projects? How can they strike a balance between technological advancement and business demands? What innovations will they have to make to maintain a competitive advantage in the Chinese market?
The 3rd Annual Global Auto Supplier Industry Summit 2011, which will be held on April 21 and 22 at the Shanghai International Convention Center, will tackle these issues and more. Gasgoo International has invited presidents from OEMs and auto part manufacturers, authoritative consultants and other qualified experts to share their viewpoints and take part in panel discussions and dialogues.
