TTL Manufacturing Pte Ltd (TTLM) was incorporated in 1999 to manage the businesses of three companies. These companies were set up in Singapore during the 70s and 80s to provide high quality plastic products and services to the consumer electronics and telecommunications industries.
TTL Holdings Ltd (TTLH) was subsequently incorporated as a holding company for TTLM, Tonsan Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd (Tonsan) in Muar, Malaysia, And TTL Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co Ltd (TTLS) in the PRC. Tonsan and TTLS were started in 1988 and 2000 respectively to cater to the increase in demand for plastic products and services, As well as to be physically closer to TTL Group's MNC customers.
To be in line with the TTL Group's business strategy of expanding its sales efforts into new markets and improving overall business opportunities, A representative office, TTL Holdings Ltd (Singapore) Representative Office in Europe (TTLEuro), Was established in Germany in 2002. The principal activity of TTLEuro is to provide liaison services for the Group's distribution of plastic components.
In April 2003, TTLH and Plasticos Promex USA, Inc (Promex) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement to establish a new joint venture Company in Singapore known as TTL Promex Holdings Pte Ltd (TTLP). TTLH and Promex hold 75% and 25% of the equity of TTLP respectively.
In the same year, TTLP incorporated a wholly- Owned subsidiary in Shanghai, Known as TTL Promex Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co Ltd (TTLPS) which provides services such as mould design and fabrication, Plastic injection moulding, Finishing activities and assembly of finished or semi- Finished products. TTLPS enables TTLH to capitalize on Promex's particular skills, Resources, Knowledge and capabilities.
In May 2004, TTLH announced that its subsidiary, TTLP has incorporated another newly wholly- Owned subsidiary in Shanghai, Named TTL Promex Precision Engineering (Shanghai) Co, Ltd (TTLPPE). The objective of TTLPPE is to support the mould design and fabrication capabilities to the Company's PRC factories and to provide a comprehensive range of service activities to its customers.
In September 2004, TTLH established a representative office in USA known as TTL Holdings USA, Inc (TTLUSA). The establishment of TTLUSA is in line with the TTL Group's business strategy to expand its marketing and sales efforts into new markets and to improve overall business opportunities for the Group in USA. The principal activity of TTLUSA is to provide liaison services for the Group's distribution and marketing of plastic components.
In March 2005, Tonsan has officially changed its name to TTL Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd (TTLMM).
On 1st July 2005, Promex who owned 25% of TTLP, Entered into a conditional Sale & Purchase Agreement with TTLH for the purchase of the issued ordinary shares held by Promex in TTLP. Thereafter TTLH holds 100% of the equity of TTLP.
In October 2006, TTLH incorporated a fully owned subsidiary in Singapore named TTL Holdings (PRC) Pte Ltd (TTLHPRC)
In December 2006, TTLMM shifted their plants in Muar to the new plant in Tangkak, Johor, Malaysia. Subsequently, We consolidated & transferred all the operations of the factories in Singapore and Muar to Tangkak.
In March 2007, TTLH announced that its subsidiary, TTLHPRC has incorporated 2 new fully owned subsidiaries in Dongguan PRC, Namely TTL Technology (Dongguan) Co. Ltd. (TTLTDG) and TTL Precision Engineering (Dongguan) Co. Ltd (TTLPEDG). TTLTDG caters to the telecommunication industry while TTLPEDG provides mould design and fabrication services.
In December 2007, TTLHPRC set up a company in Hong Kong known as TTL Trading (Hong Kong) Limited (TTLHK) to facilitate business transactions for overseas customers of the China subsidiaries.
