The company's core team for many years in the field of electric vehicle ("EV") battery systems is composed of engineers who have participated in the research and development of the battery systems for the electric vehicle in addition to the management staff who have expertise in the EV and battery industries.

Since 1999, these individuals have participated in the development of an "electric light bus" with the College of mechanical and vehicular engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology. In addition, during this period they collaborated with the Hong Kong University of Sciences and Technology in manufacturing NiMH battery EV and hybrid electric vehicles ("HEV"). They have also been involved in the critical development of electric vehicles for China National Torch Program since 2000 in addition to research of special projects for electric vehicles in China National 863 starting in 2005.
