FDH-0173 Automatic lubricant oil oxidation Stability Tester (RPVOT) Scope Standard: ASTM D2272 The Automatic lubricant oil oxidation Stability Tester (RPVOT)-Dry bath is designed and manufactured according to the ASTM D2272 and national standard SH/T0193 "Lubricating Oil Oxidation Stability Determination Method". It is suitable for evaluating the oxidation stability of new and in-service turbine oils with the same composition (base oil and additives). It can also be used to evaluate new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol as a quick evaluation method for their oxidation stability. The test results are used to test new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol or 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol or both, and the performance of each batch of oil can be continuously controlled.
