The Company continued to reduce its production cost through vertical integration strategy - which is executed through the acquisition of companies and assets that produce its various key raw materials. The Company has integrated its tire cord and synthetic rubber assets to secure the supply of those raw material for its tire manufacturing operations. Around half of the Company's tire cord and synthetic rubber production output is used for its tire production, with the remaining half sold to third parties. The company's control of its syntethic rubber plant, which is the only SBR producer in Indonesia, and of its tire cord plant allows the Company's tire production need to be given priority of supply, and also improve its ability to control costs.
