Chery Engine Company is affiliated to Chery Automobile Co.,Ltd.

Founded in 1997, Chery Engine Company is comprised of 1st Engine Plant, 2nd Engine Plant, Technical Center, Quality Assurance Dept., Production Dept., Equipment Dept., Sales Dept., Comprehensive Administrative Dept., and Financial Section, with the function coverage from the R&D, manufacture, and inspection of engines to the sales and after- service of engine assemblies.

With more than 70,000 square meter occupation area, the 1st Engine Plant is specialized in manufacturing 0.8L SQR372, 1.1L SQR472, and 1.6L SQR480 engines respectively, of which the SQR372 equipped on Chery QQ is the first domestic independently developed small displacement, 4-valve overhead dual-camshaft engine.

With more than 40,000 square meter occupation area, the 2nd Engine Plant is the cradle for "Quality and Sophisticated" ACTECO engine, and manufactures approximate 20 engine models, with the coverage of 1.3L~3.0L gasoline engines and 1.0L~1.9L diesel engines. The emission of all engines is capable of meeting Euro-IV standard.

The under-construction 3rd Engine Plant will ensure that the production capacity, quality, and techniques of engine will reach a brand-new level.
